Replacing marine batteries in our boat

We were recently “on the hook” for three weeks when we noticed our Marine flooded cell deep cycle Group 27 batteries were no longer holding a charge.  We cut our trip short, and purchased and installed Interstate Group 31 Deep Cycle marine batteries.  It certainly paid off for us to closely monitor our batteries and consumption while on the hook; otherwise we would have found ourselves with dead batteries!
